Postnatal support

As a postnatal doula my role is to meet your needs whatever they may be

Caring for you could be looking after your baby so you can nap, shower, eat hands free

Caring for your baby could be bathing them, feeding them, taking them for walks…

I love to cook and can prepare nourishing meals for you, usually from whatever is in the cupboards so you don’t have to worry about getting food in or I can go out and get groceries for you too

I can attend appointments with you, support you with breastfeeding at home or out and about, signpost you to local groups and even attend them with you

Holistically care for you with natural approaches to healing, offer holistic remedies for you and your baby, signpost you to excellent local practitioners...light chores...I'm here for you.

I am also a mindful breastfeeding practitioner and yoga teacher so I can bring relaxation elements in to your sessions with meditation scripts, breath work and gentle yoga.

Postnatal sessions are £25 an hour and I am available in school hours during term time but can sometimes be more flexible.

Night support

One of the hardest things on new parents is the lack of sleep. Night doulaing is becoming more and more popular, to give parents a much needed break and get the rest they need to keep being awesome parents to their little ones during the day.

It doesn’t matter if your baby or babies are breast or bottle fed, there are ways to support both.

I usually do a minimum of nine hours for £25 per hour (£30 per hour for twins). I can be flexible on start and finish times.

Closing The Bones

Closing the bones is a beautiful postnatal massage to honour your birth, release tension from the body and close the circle of pregnancy to motherhood. It’s a two hour session so there’s plenty of time for you to have the space to process your birth, enjoy the massage and rest afterwards. Everything is provided and I come to your home.
